Towards an Algebra of Hybrid Systems

چکیده
We present a trajectory-based model for describing hybrid systems. For this we use left quantales and left semirings, thus providing a new application for these algebraic structures. Furthermore, we sketch a connection between game theory and hybrid systems.

متن کاملNonresonant Excitation of the Forced Duffing Equation
We investigate the hard nonresonant excitation of the forced Duffing equation with a positive damping parameter E. Using the symbolic manipulation system MACSYMA, a computer algebra system. we derive the two term perturbation expansion by the method of multiple time scales. The resulting approximate solution is valid for small values of the coefficient e As the damping parameter e increases, th...
متن کاملTowards Type System by Computer Algebra Systems
Computer Algebra Systems (CAS) have been expanding the application area from fundamental science such as mathematics and physics to applied technologies such as mechanics, electronics, and financial engineering. However, it is still under way to integrate CAS features with Programming Language (PL) features, and we presume it is because the differences between these two computation models are s...

Tomov We highlight the trends leading to the increased appeal of using hybrid multicore + GPU systems for high performance computing. We present a set of techniques that can be used to develop efficient dense linear algebra alg...
متن کاملContinuity controlled hybrid automata
We investigate the connections between the process algebra for hybrid systems of Bergstra and Middelburg and the formalism of hybrid automata of Henzinger et al. We give interpretations of hybrid automata in the process algebra for hybrid systems and compare them with the standard interpretation of hybrid automata as timed transition systems. We also relate the synchronized product operator on ...
